The Bin men just got stuck on the hill in our close, I told him I'd give him a pull and he laughed and said "Mate this is over 15 tonnes" 5 mins later he was still laughing as I pulled him up the slope. It was on compacted snow and Ice, good old MTs haven't let me down yet.. :D:D:D

And to think my Gaylander struggled with a Nissan Micra.

Much spinnage?

Haha.. To be fair the disco did struggle, that hill is quiet steep and I had to stand on the brakes to trick the diff.

The look on their faces was priceless. He gave me a load of extra bin bags...:D:D

Minty was thinking of going out in her 1996 nissan micra, to see if any gaylanders needed rescuing. :D :D :D :bolt:

Its like the ultimate test for anyone who's recently had a new crossmember on their Defender. Test the welds out a bit.:D

Nice one, Good to see decent pics too.

I just found out that the bin lorry was at the end of its round and was a Dennis Eagle Elite II with a Phoenix 2 body and a twin pack weighs 16 tonnes net

Fully loaded it has a GVW of 26 tonnes :D:D:D:D:D
