Sorry, don't like at all. Makes the car look dodgy/rough in my opinion and spoils the look of the disco.
Sorry, you did ask!

my rangie has all the windows tinted, and yes it looks a bit drug-dealerish but it really helps on security, and in summer keeps the car really cool inside. i think it looks pretty cool m8.

i ve had a quote 250 need the car for a day window have to come out but my rubbers are spilt on back windows so buying new ones so when they refit with new rubbers

Looks good, though don't bring upto Scotland too soon. Supposedly illegal to have the front windows tinted - on any vehicle!!
(I had to have my front windows de-tinted recently at the police's request!!!!)

looks good to me, i like the way you even had the alpines done, or is that just the light, check out the legality on the ronts though, i see you still got the steps on;)

looks ok m8, i think the running boards would look better in black now tho, either spray em black or get some black moduler ones and give em up to yella.

Not to sure about the old security thing any more, a friend of mine had his car totaly smashed in, he had his windows tinted, He also has a full on Clifford alarm with intelle start on it etc.

The smashed all the indicators and riped out the repeters, total jemmied the bonnet open to get to the alarm sounder,(Looks like it has had a front end shunt now!) Broken the window and nicked the stereo and the sub and amp in the boot.

Turns out they left the Smart nav inc screen, Bluetooth hands free, and the alarm however they nicked the blue Clifford flashing LED!!!

He is totaly gutted.

Not sure about UK, but went to get mine done here in Oz and they have to put a series of different shades on to make it legal. Front windscreen: zero tint unless above 4 inches from the top. Front door windows upto 20% tint allowed, read door windows :as much as you want, and rear screen up to 25%. Didnt like the idea and stuck with the original instead.

PS: Paul- I tought your Disco looked very "Celebrity Hiding" kind of thing

Don't like. Looks more chav than bling. Also looks illegal.

Motor vehicles first used between 1/6/1978 and 31/3/1985 must have windows which allow at least 70% of light to pass through. Motor vehicles first used on or after 1/4/1985 must have windscreens which allow at least 75% of light to pass through - all other windows must admit at least 70% of light. Plod would need to carry a light meter (which none do) to prove that it is less than 75%, and as long as you know what is legal and what isnt, you will be ok.

all plods in the USA carry them as standard cos nearly everyone has tinted windows.

The rozzers in Greater Manchester were reported to have had a crackdown last year. The vehicles that always failed were Chrysler Voyagers on account of their side window tint.

yes widget i saw that very article while i was googling to make sure my figures were correct. some poor muppet had to get towed the 200 miles back home from a man utd match. he was a 'home' supporter living in reading. i thought all man utd fans lived in basingstoke? :p

buy a pair of sunnies, they're cheaper and plop has no right to check them. infact i don't think there is any laws about them except for that one that says you ain't allowed to wear ski goggles while driving. don't say anything about welding goggle though.
and you can keep spares in yer glove box(does anyone keep gloves in their glove box?) for yer passengers. these have the added advantage that you can indeed still use them when away from the vehicle.

well as long as ur windscreen lets in 75% and your front driver/passenger side let in 70% ur ok.

Ha ha!:D
In the same vein as: 'When is the kick-off at Man Utd?.....after the Euston train arrives'.;)

I was born down the road from Old Trafford (Urmston). As a non-believer (Rugby is my preference) I was recently accused of not honouring my heritage by a bloke who lives in Luton.

What's all that about?
