O/D once moving, with clutch as per normal gear change in third or fourth, never first or second. I would check all fluids as a matter of course

Yu can change into OD when moving, always declutch when you engage or disengage. Personally I only use them in 3&4 high range, dunno what anyone else does. Check and change the oil in the od gearbox same as all the other gearbox oils ;)

Use with the clutch as a normal gear change when you want a longer gear than 4th or as an intermediate gear between 3rd and 4th.

They're not strong so it's no recommended to engage O/D in 1st or 2nd

with the clutch ,you can use it at any time or speed but better if used in high in higher gears,if box is quieter in 4th it would suggest box lay shaft bearings are worn
