My 13 year old son and I were talking about this a few weeks ago so we timed ourselves. It was an ear splitting 19.2 seconds.
Standard 2004 TD5 except blanked off egr.

300Tdi 110 pickup with boost pin and boost ring - 10.4secs.
On Honda CB1300 0-133mph 8.6secs. Defender wins every time

1998 300tdi auto. Egr delete, middle silence delete with a cherry bomb, running 33s. I can confirm it will do 60 it even once did 70 but that was a little scary and ridiculously loud.

2000 TD5 Auto 0-60 in 22secs :D
2001 Range Rover P38 V8 Piper torquemax cam + tornado Map 0-60 8.5 seconds

Ay-up Gary how's things? Haven't seen you in a while i'm doing good at the moment!

10 seconds to 60 is very good for the D3 my P38 used to do 60 in 14secs with the worn Cam! :D

Good to hear you're feeling better, having a project LR on the go I find helps with recovery! ;)

The 2.7 TDV6 does go well, a neighbour has one and it goes really well, getting a 4.4 D3 would be fun they're even better with the V8 ;) :)

think like many others isolation has really messed me up emotionally , summers coming which is awesome but possibly facing another back surgery , alas don’t know the outcome so really want to do as much as possible

Am planning to get the V8 in a couple of years , plus seeing I do very low mileage am undecided getting one with the LPG or not

Lockdown has been a right pain in the arse, it has messed with many mentally just hope everything relaxes!
I wish you all the good luck for your future back surgery, as for the D3 V8 to be fair I'd be more inclined towards just getting a petrol one if you do low mileage LPg doesn't really make much sense! ;)
