Tyre size is always gonna be an awkward one. You'll always wish you'd bought the alternative to what you do.
Loading yer vehicle up with ballast helps to give wider tyres the same bite as narrower tyes in mud and snow but it means that you could be harder to extract in the event of getting stuck.
I fitted 265/75/16 special tracks to me 110 coming up to 5 years ago. They are fantastic tyres offroad, I have no qualms with them onroad except for the hummmmmm of the police helicopter hovering overhead. It's the s**t that they spray up the sides that gets on my nerves.
I'm looking at fitting new tyres as mine are getting towards half worn and the insa sahara pattern (which is the same as that used on the Malatesta kobras, marix puma's, yokohoma g001c's, fedima extreme evolutions etc) is what I'm after but I keep putting it off. If I get 235's to minimise the s**t down the side I know I'll regret it because of how well the 265's fill the wheel arches. If I get the 265's I'll regret it due to having to keep cleaning my windows and door handles every 30 seconds when offroad.
