Hi guys.
Just bought myself a P38 (today). Got me a 4.6 Vogue, 2000 registration. Running LPG system, so not too bad on fuel costs.
Anyway, just thought I'd come join here as I've never had a 4x4 before. Been mostly into VW's and Audi's the last few years, mostly GTI's and TDI's. But recently fell out of love with my last A4 Quattro due to poor fuel consumption (37 mpg out of a 2.0 TDI), and bought a BMW 335d. Weapon car (as fast, if not faster, than my 4.2 V8 S4). That'll be no use come the winter though. So thought, to hell with it, treat myself, and buy a Range Rover.
Here are some pics:
Apart from tinting the windows, I'm planning on doing nothing but fix it and run it. However, if there are any "must do" modifications, I am open to ideas.
For example, how easy would it be to change the head unit? Would quite like to be able to play off a USB stick / Ipod. This shouldn't affect my satnav? Not that its worth keeping right enough. Or how would this affect my HK sound system? Or is there a way to ditch the cd changer, and install a USB / Ipod adaptor?
