Just a quick hi to everyone on the forum, im normally under the bonnet of my mk1 Ford Escort, but ive taken on a 59" series 2, 88" it'll need a lot of work, and ill probably need a lot of help along the way!

Hope i've found the right site to ask all the newbie questions, so please don't be mean......

ok, here are some pics. the landy is my mrs dad's but i get to do all the work on it, its the first time ive done any welding and it seems to have gone quite well, all the back end has been repaired, all new shocks, springs, bushes bolts ect, just have to do the same to the front.

As for the escort, its my little baby, ive had it for a few years now and its only done 58,000 miles from new. gotta keep it old skool!

still lots more to do, but its getting there, i hope to get an mot on it in the next few weeks, then i can drive it around over the winter months and leave the escy in the garage over the winter. :D
 
Wow, what a mint, unmolested escort. Thanks for sharing that, looks great. Landy's looking good too, would love a Series but my other half would go mad. We have a lovely new big garage ready and waiting for a nice classic project but it full of his bikes. :rolleyes:
