C cdkarp New Member May 27, 2008 #2 I had the same problem in my 99 DI. The linkage just had some dried mud and rocks. Once I cleaned the mud and sprayed some lube on the linkage everything worked fine.

Take5 New Member May 27, 2008 #4 My V8 hybrid Range-Fender used to do the same thing. Dismantled it all and cleaned it up and seemed to be OK after that.
