whatever
getting a occasional judder through the steering wheel, quite violent when it does it ,going to start with the pan hard rod bushes, but theres quite a few to choose from any recommendations ?

If it happens after hitting some rough road could be a damper/shock on the way out.

Steering damper (as said above) but also check the ball joints and the swivel preload. Had that issue with a Range Rover Classic and found out it had been soldiering on with all of the above messed up...changed the handling no end when all was fixed/adjusted.

Panhard Rod
Drop Arm Ball Joint - If it is this replace it with the Disco conversion, no more ball joint
Steering Dampers shagged
Pre-Load/Wheel bearings

Wheel bearings caused the problem on mine

Don't forget the propshaft bearings. You can get all kinds of interesting vibration as they get loose. I can tell when my front needs doing because the steering wheel (and other things) start vibrating at 50 mph.
