I've always liked to replace hose clips whenever I change a hose, up to recently I have bought my hose clips from Toolstation and they used to be ok, now though they just don't tighten up enough before 'slipping'. I have gone back to refurbishing old ones front 'emergency' box as I can't trust the new ones. So where can I buy good quality but not overpriced hose clips?

e-bay or our local faster place as they are genuine Jubilee. I too check the old ones first as some seem much heavier construction

Stainless Steel for me too. I buy them in bulk, as they're normally cheaper that way.
I actually like Norma Stainless Steel worm clips, but they're getting difficult to get now, so I normally end up with generic stainless clips instead.

Most modern vehicles use once only clips, so having a good stock of worm clips is essential.

I prefer the double ear or spring clip type these days but if I do use a jubilee I tend to get all my hose clips from our local Cromwell Tools
