high all can any body help i have a freelander 1.8 16v i recently lost the split pin from the gear linkage and replaced it with a bolt and locking nut but the gear shifter is still floppy when in gear can any body tell me why this is thanks all

Maybe its because you should have replaced the pin with the right part

It has been noticed that a flopy gear stick is the cause of people buying freelanders rather than a symptom:eek::D. Welcome to the loonyzone
