C CRS Well-Known Member Sep 8, 2023 #1 Brought a new tow rope for me 11A yesterday and today it conked out, seems to be the fuel pump, if you keep primming the lever it starts and runs ok, if you let it stand I think petrol is leaking out the pump emptying the bowl.

tottot Well-Known Member Sep 9, 2023 #2 Diaphragm in pump may have split, can result in fuel going into the engine sump.
