Are these really recovery points? If they are the hooks I am thinking of (teardrop shape over one end of a bolt through the chassis) then they are tie down points ONLY!!

Ignore me if you are talking about something else LOL

THis thread is confusing as f&*(ck

ditch the 4 lashing rings that a built out of ****. buy 4 jate rings and attach in their place. buy 2-3 tow straps between 10&30ft. buy rated shackles.

When stuck, but it all together and pull the vehicle out to suitable ground. when finished pack it all away nicely into a bag.

Done.

How hard?

it can be awkward to recover and makeing a "cradle" as ratty says does help but its a landy so just ffoookin drag tha bastid oot.
