I have just bought myself a mint 110 hardtop for Christmas :D:D
and was wondering if the 2 ton trolley jack I have been using on my Discovery will be ok to use with my new pressie, I still have the Discovery and was hoping I wouldn't have to buy another jack for my Defender 110,anyone can help with my dilema please.

Buy a bigger jack! you tight git...

As above. I've had a 2 tonne jack for some time but when I tried lifting the 110 at the front it didn't like it. I have a disco jack for emergencies and a clarke 20 tonne (got it really cheap) for general work. However, if I find a 3 or 4 tonne trolley jack at the right money I'll treat the wife!

:D

I got one of these through my work for £95 inc VAT.

Works a treat, and has staged lift too. So it reaches the height to the jacking point really quick, and then jacks steadily.

Invaluable piece of kit, but certainly too heavy to be portable. Much better than a 2t trolley jack for home use though, the wider track makes it more stable too.

You'll never be able to fix all the leaks if it only goes out in the sun. Also, how will you know how bad the heater is?
