I know that they all like to beep and bong for one thing or another and I have done a search for my new friend with no result. I have gained an occasional, single beep, that sounds like it's from somewhere at the back of the veh. It happens after I unlock and get in, when the veh has been sat for a few days. It doesn't happen every time and there are no warning messages. Although I did notice tonight it beeped whilst I was driving and the dash display decided to show me the time, without being asked?! Anyone got any ideas where my new companion has come from?

Possibly the Sat Nav unit - having a funny moment!!

I had a curious beep a few weeks ago - I could only assume then it was from the Sat Nav!

the only beeper i can think of in the rear is the reversing sounder, they can sometimes produce a churp when turning on the ignition//

Don't think it's the reversing sounder as it's before I put the key in ignition. Maybe it's the sat-nav reminding me it exists. :)

1 No but that's a thought. Might be nice having the company.
2 No, not that unfortunate ;)

its the seat pressure sensor warning of overweight driver.

Oooo now that's a thought. You could be right. (Apart from not an overweight driver and it happens when door is opened before seat is sat on :)
)

Water in the electronics in the rear quarter of the boot. After heavy rain mates L322 started changing things on the dash like from litres/km to mpg. Shortly after the SatNav failed followed by no radio sound. Took the trim off, DVD unit full of water and every other unit wet. Looks like it is going to be very expensive:eek:

Should have had the official LR plastic protector bag lol
It had some sort of plastic protection in there, hasn't helped, too much water in the bottom condensing on the units when it cools overnight.

Typical LR bodge rather than locate and fix the problem.

I'll take a look tomorrow as light is fading and so am I, after 34hrs without sleep. It's an early bed for this teddy tonight

Thanks to all who tried to hel. However it would appear it is because I have been demoted :( I am no longer a General Idiot I am now a Major idiot. It would appear the beep is the fact I had switched the memo on! :5bredface:

Indeed :5bblush5: I'm off to sit in a corner with a cup of coffee until this blows over :bolt:

Iv had some chimes lately lol
Turns out the hourly clock chime has been turned on somehow ?!?!
Anyone know how to turn the damn thing off ? Lol
Cheers
