Retired to the country
After a couple of years away I have only gone and bought another P38. My last one was a 1998 DSE this one is a 2002 4.6 Vogue SE in Oslo Blue. Needs a bit of fettling as they all do but it's good to be back.

To be honest, I never noticed you’d gone :oops: so what happened to the DSE? Was pretty smart and price has gone up from when you bought it
you turn a profit? :p
 
At the time I needed something my elderly mum could get in and out of easily. Now I am able to have a normal car and the P38 as a something to tinker with. Always want a V8 and now petrol is so cheap! ideal opportunity.
Didn't make a loss on the DSE and it needed engine work
 
The story so far.
New drag link and track rod, old ones all totally knackered.
New steering damper
New battery, the old one had a leak!!
Four new Avon AX7 tyres and tracking done.
Sunroof leaks so temporarily sealed it up
Radio RDS is a bit hit and miss plus the cd changer has got stuck a couple of times.
Rear fogs don't work, fronts OK though.
Cruise control pipe is split, new one this weekend.
Nearside half of the heated screen doesn't work, will need an investigation.
The LPG works fine but will have it serviced.
Front ball joints are really rusted, job for the summer though.
My guess is that it hasn't had a lot of love for a few years.
All this said though it's doing the job with muddy lanes, muddy dogs etc. Keeping our other car clean
