.45-100 . Built by Gilbert Howe of Bournemouth around 1974 in Creedmoor style. The action is a Pedersoli 45-70 #35 on all parts, barrel is a Lowther 1.125 x 35" .
heavy parallel with a 1:20 twist . Proofed for 85g BP and 535g bullet, Not run her at full load yet but getting good results with 50/50 Pyrodex/buffer and the Lee 405g hollow base, good short range load, she also likes 80g/v Pyrodex capped with the Lee 500G plain base, but that's a wee beasty. Ill try and get a few pics posted.
OOOW a Sharpie, a 120 is it a Shiloh ( cant spell) Quigley

Sorry I went quiet side, been dealing with a small heart attack. Ok progress to date. I gave the keys to my daughter ( shock horror ) lol to be fair shes not bad with motors.. well she threw out the oil gauge and fitted a new switch, changed the oil and filter then used my beloved tdi to go to collage every day,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, not a blip pop or rattle, no light coming on, no use of the heater and all has been well for over a Kmiles. All this came at a price, my urban tank is now girly pink with a make up mirror and lace curtains. ROFL only joking but she has fitted one of those checker plate body kits, and if im honest it does look good,,,,,,,,,, covered up all the dents and dings lol the battle scars of many happy miles.
Well thank you all, I think im sorted now

Tom
