Had the hevac panel out to replace a bulb while freeing off distribution blend flaps, got it back together and it won't show ambient temp as anything but minus 40.
I found other threads that suggest it won't show correct ambient until after 15 mins of running but this was a week ago and I've done over 100 miles.
Got the panel out again, checked all plugs and connections, nothing amiss, nanocom shows no faults and agrees that it's -40 ambient.
I believe the outside temp sensor is somewhere near the rad ('98 GEMS), but the bonnet hasn't been opened and it was all working fine before the bulb replacement.
Any clues???
TIA - Alastair
