I suggest you read the mot regs then pull the mot tester on it
Fixed it, Mick. The fact that it was a third full of water must have been hampering it's operation Good growth of sheet algae in there anorl. Cleaned, dried out and working, so one less thing to fail onGood Luck.
I think you've taken it to the wrong MOT tester
My friendly chap passed me first time and he didn't even look at the tow bar socket, or try the blowers, or mention the straight through exhaust with no Cat or silencer.
I did take the 50mm wheel spacers off and fix the number plate light, before taking it to him though
Yes, we have NCT for private vehicles, and CVRT ( DOE) for commercials, any light van upwards as long as its taxed commercially.Different in Ireland I think they have to take their cars to our equivalent of the HGV test station.
Change the oil before you go then it'll be burning 'clean' oil!... I don't know how mine passes the smoke test as it's burning a fair bit of oil Will find out on Friday if it manages it again.
Hmmm, debatable. Once the oil is dirty seems to burn lessChange the oil before you go then it'll be burning 'clean' oil!
I've just had the call from the garage, Mick.................................it's passed! I'm not rubbing it in, honest Just thought you might be curious as to how it got on.Took it for test today and unfortunately it failed............. on the brake light in the trailer socket and the heater fan not working. Free retest but what a pain in the arse.
