Some one care to explain to a newbie why my Station wagon won't stop on a sixpence
It's got newish pads an shoes but I still have to think about braking ten minutes before touching the pedal.

thats cause it was designed in 1949 and thats what cars were like then.

my dads 1938 rover 16hp was just the same. you had to start braking in bolton to stop in manchester.

in fact, thinking bout it today, i realised that what u are driving is basically a horseless carriage mk2.
seeing it was designed after a usa jeep thingy c1939 which in turn was invented not many yrs after the first car.

so, seeing there has been more yrs past since the series 1 c1949, as there was before it, (car wise), your car is a posh cart. and not known for their stopping prowess.

my disco is a mk3 horseless carriage, as its prob nearer to the cart, than to my focus tdi.

& not if yer photo is some **** on a doorpost.
Can't tell the difference between **** and a colony of bees in a wall? I thought you guys started beekeeping.... maybe that was the Germans
With all the **** you guys are throughing around on here I would think you would know what **** looks like.
