Now that's interesting, makes it seem that my order has gone astray, or I've ordered something hard to get.
Just a quick point Foundry 4X4 do have an eBay site and as such there is more protection for the customer should you have problems.

Island's balance sheet doesn't look that good. I suspect people ordering stock items get good service, but anything that needs to be ordered by Island could take a while !!

Well wonder if they are looking at this site, I received an e-mail this morning sayiong they are sorry but the delay was caused by the windscreen seal I ordered being out of stock and did I want to go ahead without or swap to a Britpart one.
I hope they pick their feet up a bit and get my parts shipped

Thats a result and at least you know better than nothing, hopefully your waiting will come to an end soon:D

Goodwill is the most bull**** thing when buying a business. When my parents got theirs the woman selling claimed 200k worth of goodwill. For a business that maybe made 100k a year. Some people are day dreamers. They are same people who sell a 5 year old PC/Laptop and expect to get what it was worth new.

Ebay/Paypal protection is nigh on worthless in my recent experience:mad:
I haven't had a bad experience with eBay / PayPal that hasn't been satisfactorily sorted out, I recently took out a case for reimbursement of £2.50 from a Chinese seller who hadn't sent my goods so I opened a case and within a 2 days I was £2.50 richer ;)

Really? I've always found ebay pretty good on that sort of thing.
£200 down on a pair of P38 front seats, I refused to accept delivery because they were not as described, wrong colour. They were returned to the seller and he refused to pay the return charge, because I did not take a photo, Ebay and Paypal after dragging it out for months refused a refund.
Item not received from China, case opened and then closed as the seller promised to resend, the seller did not but because the case had been closed, no refund.

Well that's ****ed up.

I have used them tbf most things have turned up pretty quick I'm sure iv posted on here about them before when I visited there shop. Yes they did have a counter service but not any more, they always gave me the impression they were doing me a favour instead of giving customer service. And the issues regarding contact are well documented.

Iv not had a need to buy anything for ages because all 3 of my landy cars are so reliable

I ordered some bits for the discovery on Sunday and they are being delivered later today,
Cannot grumble about that,
