It's great when we get a service like that but a bit sad when something arrives a day or two later than expected. Then we tend to write about how "It's such a lousy service".
As the old saying goes, "Bad news is around the world before the good news has got its boots on".
In many cases, the fault isn't with the retailer, but with his supplier and so on back down the supply chain. The retailer isn't in the position of being able to stock every single part for every Land Rover on the road so he has to buy them in when you raise the order. After all, we tend to go to the specialist supplier only when we can't get what we want from the local motor factors.
So cut the retailer a bit of slack and start complaining after three days instead.

I ordered a track rod from island 4x4 in Kent on the 8th and it arrived on my doorstep in New Zealand lunchtime on the 12th.....now that is pretty good.
Had a similar thing happen recently from Rimmers.

And the local retailers wonder why we don't want to pay 4 times + and wait a week or two.....

I had to open a dispute with paddock's on paypal not long ago... waited a month to get a refund for an unshipped item and they didnt answer to any of my email... with island4x4 i've had only good experiences

Ordered a power steering pump from island 4x4. Was cheapest I could find, free delivery and had it two days later!

Never had a problem with Island when ordering stuff on the website and I can't fault their prices but they continually ignore all my attempts at getting them to add a few genuine LR items to the site so I can buy them!

I've used Island 4x4 quite a few times for overseas orders, never had any problems whatsoever :)
