hi started to waxoyl my disco2 with my new gun and compressor and noticed it went on quite thick so apart from the cost is to much a bad thing ?

Not at all I'd say, better to have a good covering then one that's too thin that'll scratch off or chip easily.

what you find is, that it dont cover all the cavity, it just runs down and sits at the bottom , and sets really hard...;)

Yes...

pain in the a*** when you have to remove it to sort the welding out.....

Even more of a pain when you find the waxoyl hides a ton of small holes, causing shedload of welding before MOT...

Can't have too much when trying to sell a Landy, see previous post..
Hard to give a chassis the hammer test when hitting the chassis with a hammer results in hammer making no noise and sticking to said chassis! :frusty:

(Green Meanie now has all waxoyl removed, all holes sorted. Lesson learned.....)

I suppose I should have said "When dodgy geezer tries (and succeeds) to sell Landy to gullible newbie Steve..."
