Latest update- took beast into garage to get checker plate fitted - whilst there they noticed the rather idiosyncratic brake/ headlight thing that I had going on- anyway bless their cotton socks - they sorted it free of charge - loose wire apparently .

so now when I feather my brakes it doesn't look like I'm trying to get the driver in front to stop by flashing my headlights at him
