This is my first Land Rover and I've had it just about a month. Really happy with it, but getting paranoid about little rattles, ticks and knocks that I imagine I can hear sometimes! It always seems worse when it's started from cold in the morning. Does this sound noisy, or is it just normal for a 300tdi?

More diagnose these noises posts should be like this.

Sounds like squeaky water pump to me. Not really enough to worry about unless it gets louder.

Other than that it sounds good to me ;)
 
That little squeek stops after a minute or so. It's only been doing it since I had the timing belt changed two weeks ago. Glad to hear it sounds OK apart from that. Thanks guys.
