Blimey. I was expecting em to say they were discontinued or summit. I've never seen another one like it. sounds like yer fuel saving will soon offset the cost of getting it.:p

Yea they still make them, on site they mostly have that model, the only difference seems to be they changed the colour of the tab from red to white

I suppose RR's just attract the widest range of people from hardcore off roaders (RRC) right through to 22" Blingers fitting suicide doors (P38). No other LR attracts such a broad spectrum of buyers used and it's a long way from the very narrow target market when new.

It also gives the **** takers here an easy target as if we're honest with ourselves we've no problem with the cache RR ownership brings.:behindsofa:

Whenever BoB, Redhand or the boys are bored they just come for for a game of 'prod the Poshie' or 'Biff the Blinger', and when all else fails they just roll out the line 'P38's are not real off roaders anyway' :rolly:

As the cost of keeping one goes up the purchase price goes down so they are really cheap to buy right now but the cost of running one is really no different to when it was new. But they're a very desirable car to buy.

Its amazing to see the number of L322 owners on the forum now. 2 years ago there was hardly one but now the % L322 posts is probably higher than Classics.

BTW, where did the OP **** off to after stirring it up some? BoB are you using someone else user name to start a bit of craic!

Fookin hell this thread really took off , one post by me before I went out and by the time I am home its six pages.

I reckon RRC are probably cheaper than series vehicals at the tattier end of the market.

Ratty , thats a fookin nice RRC! , what year and what front grill and lights is it?

I am about to buy a 1972 which needs work and thats cosing me £1500 but it comes with a 79 for spares.

Bling Bling aint for me ! :D , even my BMW is a Q-car street sleeper!

no actually  i have a good job saved up for years and bought myself one. Why do you presume that if someone has a range rover they are rich and arrogant im a 21 year old from a average family in manchester who has always wanted a range rover every since i was young, i did well at school, put my self through college and uni and now worked my way up in my job to a point i can afford to drive a range rover, whats wrong with that!!! If everyone was as cynical and judgemental as you the world would be a very boring and dull place!! whats wrong with wanting to do well and succeed and drive a nice car!!

all that by the time you're 21. What were you, a child prodigy?:D
