Hello again,
I've just taken 5 photos of inside the cylinder head where the injectors go, they have had the 'special tool' on them about 2 weeks ago, I've had the injectors removed again to send them away for testing, they are fine BTW. I've nothing to compare to so in the attached photos does the condition of the head look ok? Looks rough to me...

Are we looking at the injector seats or what? Do you mean the rough finish to the walls of the head itself, those are casting marks. Whole thing is aluminium alloy poured into a casting sand mould - it gets broken/blown out and rinsed when finished but the roughness you see is the impression of the sand!
 
Ok thanks, just worried as everyone keeps saying how difficult they are to seal/seat and the last garage took 5 sets of Genuine washers before he got them to seal... Cheers
