One of the supports that runs across my 110 has completely rotten away and fallen off, will this fail an MOT for this and is it possible to repair / add them back in?
The only parts left is a small amount that is attached t the chassis, this is one at the back.
Sorry about picture hard to get one that means anything

Cross members are an integral part of the chassis.
They can be welded up, but you might be better off fitting a new one.

There is nothing left to weld, looks more like a floor support rather than cross member? Would a cross member be made of such thin folded steel?

Paddocks have the floor supports, rivet or bolt it on. Just fitted 3 to the 90, 110 has 4 i think. Not an mot failure and easily fitted so just fit a new one. Is this what it looked like -

YRM make parts for the rear floors.
May be worth giving them a call and asking if they make that one.

Cheers

YRM do all the bits I've fitted one of there complete floor kits to my project 110 they're very good, they're bonded and riveted to the floor only point as to an mot failure is if its a station wagon the 2nd row middle seat belt bolts through the floor and through one of the floor bracings.
cheers Ian

Yes it looked like that!
Thanks for the help

I've just had to replace all the ones on mine. I had to do the rear crossmember at the same time so I just removed the rear tub, turned it upside down and did it that way.

I picked mine up second hand from Newbury 4x4 spares day last year. And it's on again this weekend...
