I always though SVX soft top had the silver roll cage.
Im not saying the one in the link isnt an SVX but it doesnt look anything special.

Doesn't look like an svx to me, as lynall said, they usually have a roll cage,
Wrong headlight surrounds/grill fitted.
Seats should be recaro.
Decals? Usually on the doors and bonnet
Should have little badges stating (svx) on the wings and rear.
And hard to tell from the pictures if it has or not, but they also had silver gear-transfer box knobs.

that's what I thought an svx land rover looked like.

It either is not an SVX or it was an SVX and had all the 'good/SVX' bits replaced/removed. SVX's had bucket seats, that does not. They also had a front roll bar, a sloped rear canopy and the center console is silver, as where the gear knobs, missing the silver side steps, its also missing all the SVX badges and it didnt come in blue. Only SVX thing on there is the wheels.

Also £16k for a 90 and the loadspace floor is that scratched up makes me wonder what it was previously used for....

BUT read the description -

Chrome finish SVX badges, Detachable black fabric hood, LED tail lamps, Lockable load bed storage compartment, Machined aluminium differential knob, Machined aluminium gear knob, Matt black decals on doors & bonnet, Metallic silver tubular support cage, Recaro front seats with Land Rover logo, Centre console – Titan

That sound like an SVX, looks like the got the pics mixed up.

I have spoken to him, he has confirmed it is a standard 90 with the alloys, not an SVX, why it has the description of an SVX I'm not sure but I'm also sure its certainly not worth that much for a slightly modded 90.
