Looks dodgy to me, no feedback in my book = steer well clear!

Na - there is something odd about motor dealers on eBay - they don't seem to accrue feedback - perhaps due to them only listing classified ads? So I wouldn't worry about that - seen it loads.

But whether the price is a typo or whether the guy is legit.... well you could always call and find out?

Got to agree with HiDeeHi be careful looks to good to be true. Way under priced. There could be head trouble with that as early TD5 had bad heads, not all but most.

Way to cheap
His name doesnt come up on google or bing except for his current advert

Seen a few recently.. why would you sell something for a lot less than it's worth?? I'd stay clear myself. A friend of mine got caught out with a car scam last year on autotrader and lost over £3000!

Looks like a nice one. Just 20 inches short of being a proper one :fencing:

If I was looking to buy I would give them a call as suggested. What's the worst that can happen, cloned ringer/ chop job / bad chassis / stolen / hit over the head money taken/ samolian kidnapping. In my experience there are no bargain used cars, its the closest thing to perfect market unless you find one genuinely in a barn that no one knows about, looks too good to be true it usually is but why not look into it, chances are its an ebay scammer / time waster.

Hahaa yeh I thaught you ment dogey as in not legal nicked etc etc..
Underneith it's prob rotten to hell and cyclinder head problems like the old td5s had..
Hence the price..

thanks for that guys! there was about 6 ads like that today! you just never know do you, i always wonder if you call them can they use your phone number for something dodgy? Anyway i will stay clear this time just wanted some advice!

Just looked on ebay and you are right there are some cheap early td5 90s floating about, I reckon people are suspicous of them as the 200 and 300 seem to make silly money.
Cant hurt to ring them, just exercise caution

hey guys! i emailed e-bay listing and phoned number! no answer on phone so e-mailed whith some tech jargon i made up to see if they would reply. Nothing yet! but 2 more listings have appeared tonight!

oh a quick question! i may ask again on forum! how diff is it to put windows in the back of a hard top?

easy peasy just unbolt the sides and fit the new ones.

Option 1 swap out the sides

Option 2 buy a window kit, bit of careful marking and cutting
