Get a copy of their back door lock key cut and send it to me please? Martin from Able tells me that they are all the same and i don't have a key for mine. Martin didn't believe the chap who told him until he walked over and locked and unlocked Martin's back door.

LOL I think mini petrol caps were the same..... I recall a friend opening mine.

When i worked on the farm in the early 80s, i drove a Morris Marina 1.3 coupe (my first car), Phil drove a Marina 1.8 TC saloon, Colin and Tozzer both drove Allegros. Colin's door key opened mine, Phil's ignition key started mine and i think Tozzer's door key opened Colin's. We didn't think to try petrol caps. About 15 years later while looking for parts for my first Land Rover in scrap yards and found my old Marina in a scrappy in the back and beyond of Belbroughton!

Mine isn't like any other I've seen. Looks like one of those cylindrical bike lock keys.

Yours, I assume, looks more like the front door keys?

I attached a pic of the lock, then paused thinking, 'oh, i bet Julian is talking about the key'. So at 00:45 i popped down stairs and searched for the bag of three blank keys i bought about three weeks ago with the intention of trying to follow some instructions of how to mark and cut your own key on Youtube. I found the bag and for the first time took them out and actually looked at them. FFS they are already cut! Thinking i'd grabbed the spare keys to the new barrels for the front door locks i checked against the one on the key ring. NO, these are not front door keys, they must be the 'blanks' for the back door.
So i quickly put on some shoes and nipped outside and tried one in the lock. It only turns about 35 degrees from stop to stop but locks and unlocks the door!
When i searched for Yale TD26 keys i thought TD26 was the type of lock. The 26 must be the barrel number!

Does your handle look like mine below?
The keys all have 26 stamped onto them.
