i put one on my NA, it made it louder, and slower.

I didn't really mind (my air box was falling apart) and went TDi, and put the K&N on this too.

I then got a 200TDi air box, with a stock filter, and fitted that. Massively faster. And easier to change than the K&N was to clean too!

I looked for one cos I liked the look and the cheapest I found was £50!

Ah had 2 or 3 kickin' about at one point.. but they're all gone now (apart from this one). Aye, they're no' cheap! Half toyed with the idea of stickin' one on the other side for a while... just to be different;):D

I would have stuck 2 on if I had 2 but at this rate I can't even get 1. :p

It was dry when I got home last night, so I stuck the sticker that came with my filter on the side of the snorkel. Wow, what a difference! For those of you who reckon these filters don't work - make sure you do put the sticker on!

but it's better than disconnecting the breather pipe from the air intake and breathing in the fumes in the cabin!.

knock yourself up an oil catch can for under the bonnet. fit a filter on the can vent and you shouldn't get any fumes in the cab:D
