ok i think my dicovery 300tdi overboosting revs fine in nuatral sound in first gear 2nd & 3rd gear under load it cuts of like its jumped out of gear but doesnt stall & there is no black smoke just a sudden loss off power has ???
please help

I don't think they have an over boost as such, my first disco had similar symptoms when the fuel sender unit pipes had corroded and sucked air in!

new sender unit and it was fine!

Have u put boost guage on and checked what boost its running?

havent got a boost guage but will check sender unit later cheers

ok have check the sender unit top metal bits are rusty & the plastic bend bit is cracked

its fixed after all that checking fuel problems it was the immobiliser running sweet now thanks to every one for the suggestions
