£10K is a lot for a 1991/2/3 unless it is a special build (Overfinch or other custom coachworks) a mint Brooklands or a mint CSK (and they were 3 door in black !!) or it has to be absolutely mint - I mean peppermint fresh.

It is also manual which is less desirable.

Classics are now appreciating in value, and there are precious few solid example around....I'd say £6K - unless it is a 'off the production line' mint and/or a collectable 'Special' build...

But then again, like anything, it is only worth as much as someone will pay for it - if you think it is worth £10k of your hard earned - then that is what it is worth to you.
 
A neighbour of mine has one of those in Green it's like it came out of the factory. The exhausts have been fettled to give it a beautiful but classy muted burble. it just oozes class bowling along the country lanes here.
It's just perfect, and wish it was mine.

Would I pay what would be almost 13000 Euros for it?
probably not.
 
10k for that - mmmmmm. I wouldn't have thought so. It is a poverty spec Rangie, no leather, no cruise, no ABS, no aircon, a plastic dash (no wood!) an don top of that it has got over 100k on the clock.

It is very clean I'll admit but personally I think it is overpriced. My '91 RRC tatty and battered as it is is a better spec and lower mileage. I would look around a bit more.
 
From a car follower's point of view, It probably is a little too much money but then its worth what it is to you.
I have just bought a Range Rover Vogue, probably paid more than I should but it was the best I could find so therefore its worth every penny, I may be its last owner hopefully.
Buy with both your head and your heart, head must make the final decision.

£10k is top money for the mileage. However given prices for good Classics of this age are rising then if you keep it as a pristine Sunday car I don't think you will lose too much cash in the long term. If you want it on your driveway go for it!
 
no & for 10k you would atleast expect the correct radio being sourced & fitted + 3.9 with a stick is not nice imo ,prob been a ex motorway police

Their showroom wants £9,990 for it. Bit over priced for a base spec Classic. Although it seems all they sell is overpriced motors to idiots. They have a Ejoke listed for near as makes no difference £130,000...

The mileage seems a bit low for an ex-plod, back in the days when Essex ran these they used to get 200k from them before disposal (maybe not on the original engine, especially if a 3.9) & also I don't see in the pics. any sign of the usual holes where equipment has been removed. Really good old Classics are becoming rarer by the year, esp. if original & low mileage - this one is neither & although the restoration is a big plus point it's both the wrong colour & a stick job. £10k is entirely possible nowdays for a RRC, but not this one.

Just seen this. If it was a SE LSE or a hi spec Vogue manual of that age in that condition then yes 10k would seam a fair price. 6K tops for that one, 8K if plod put a new engine at 100k like they sometimes did. If you don't mind doing some work of want to pay somebody you can find that milage or less with tin worm for less than 1k

Plod still seem to change engines at 100k. I was looking at some ex-traffic cars (newuns, just retired from the force) and they all had engines changed at ~100k. Seems wasteful to me when modern engines are easily good for 200k without breaking a sweat.
