yep thats correct, I said one reason behind owning a Range Rover is it looks impressive, and for some reason you think that means I have a small dick... I can see your the kind of person who condems everyone you see driving a "flash" car.... even though you don't have a clue what the person driving it is like....

No not at all, i have had a few flash cars in my time. If you want to spend over the odds on a flash motor feel free. If that's what turns you on, do it. I do not suggest you are poorly endowed, as a matter of fact i don't really care. I was mearly illustrating a point, that those who go into Boots and shout for all to hear that they want the large version, to impress, when they only need the same one everyone else uses, have a problem in my view. If you want to pay £21,000 + for the bling factor for a car worth less than that by all means do it. After all it's what it's worth in your eyes that matters, personally i would not do it. I don't need a flash motor to impress people i am quite happy to be me, warts and all, i have nobody i care to impress anyway. Penis and ego extensions i don't need, not at over inflated prices anyway. There's a 2004 Overfinch on eBay for £24,950 5.8 litre 26,000 miles, that has to be worth a least another four inches. If your going for it go for it properly.:):):)

But you can't off road in an Overfinch and what's the point in having a Rangie otherwise?

Don't think the poster praising the dear motor is thinking of even going up the kerb with it. Just wants to polish it then put it on Mc Donalds carpark and lean on it as the birds go past.

You see your at it again you cannot get off you soap box can you... so now as well as everyone who likes a nice car...every overfinch driver is a **** too, also you are making assumptions and judgements about me, when you don't have a clue who am I or what I do... the only time you will see my Range Rover in a Mc Donalds Car Park is when I am out with the wife and kids, so if that impresses the birds then fine, and between where I live, the job I do, and the hobbies that I participate in... I class my Range Rover as an essential tool... BUT I STILL LIKE IT TO LOOK NICE... I may have a small dick but you my friend have a very very small mind

Ok from the book. Range Rover Vogue 4,4 HSE 04 plate 43,000 miles.
Retail £18,480.
Private £16,920.
Part ex £15,950.
Trade £15,300.
You decide.

Just wondering...no opinion voiced as I must admit, if I had the dosh (which I never will) I'd buy a Bowler, a Holland&Holland AND an Overfinch. Plus, buy a 90 G4
Think mine just inverted and turned into a pussy!

Although I must admit I'm slightly obsessed with my Disco.....so my wife says.

I don't want to look argumenitive because I'm not - buts its a vogue not a bottom of the range HSE.... :p

The point has gone astray, the orginal post was is he serious, and I thought and still do that is was'nt that far off the mark, I am in the market for a replacment and as such have been watching prices (like we all do) yes my list of "desirables" include a gas con V8, low milage, and a 2010 conversion pack, because as stated I think its an improvement.... but and I am ready for another slating.... I want the right colour combination too... and this one just aint right for me!

Paul, you must be "into" you jetski's if you guessed it from my Forum name! - the reason behind it is not because I am huge Polaris fan by the way.... the first time I started using forums was when I was trying to constantly fix the thing... i just kept the name ever since !

Yes sorry about that did mean to post the HSE prices also. But when i went back and saw it was a vogue did not bother. Should have deleted the HSE bit. It was supposed to say Vogue/HSE. We all make mistakes. I usually buy private or trade so would never dream of paying around £5,000 £6,000 over the odds. I don't do retail you see, been at it too long to even consider that. If it had solid gold door handles it would not be worth anything more as a car just a bit more as scrap.

Bu the point is, Shirley, that increasing desireability means more peeps want it which, in turn, will drive the price up?
shouldnt, should mean that peps would choose it over anotehr option at the same price without the added extras.
I say shouldnt.....

 since when has the HSE been at the bottom of the pile? what about the S, SE and police spec, they all lower than a vogue i thought...

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
