Nowt moving yet mate ..Maybe in the New Year Driving a Saab 9-3 Turbo Aero Coupe at the mo ...tryin to get me a P38 back again ...(Last one I had was a RINGER!!!!!!!!!!!

Lovely looking car though, cant see him getting anyway near that much for it.

But you cant blame him for trying, we are all guilty of thinking our cars are worth more than they actually are.....someone somewhere may be willing to pay the premium ( allthough a big premium ), for a car like that.

I particularly like the final comment on the listing:

Timewasters and dreamers will not be tolerated.

Pot, kettle, black?

Probably find it's a P38 really:)

opps I have been following that one with temptation, I thought it was'nt that bad, low milage, gas conversion and probably 3k worth of updates.... the only thing putting me off was the colour combination.... cream leather against grey paint not sure that works.... and the stupid coment about wanting extra for the mirrors.... esp if you look at his feedback you can plainly see he bought them off e bay and how much he paid for them :p

He is working on the NIKE trainers LEVI jeans principal. Put an high price on and someone may just be stupid enough to buy it.

Just did a quick scout again at whats about, that is an extremely low milage model, with a bag full of extras, yes there is room for negotiation but is does'nt justify a slating by any means.... Yes you can but one for 10k, with 100,000 miles, without the gas, without the wheels and without conversion...

You can buy one without gas with 100,000 miles on it for £10,000. Then fit gas and a new engine and £3000 accessories for less than £21,000.

Car £10,000
Engine £ 4000
Gas Con £ 2000
2010 con £ 3000
wheels £ 2000

Yep your right - except the point you miss is every single other compenant on the car has done 100k too!

I think I know the guy! Bit of a chancer tbh but he has done extremely! well off it!

Lovely car yeah I agree low miles! But has it realy? & yeah not sure if you would sell it in the future for anywhere near that! Leather combo doesn't seem to bad I think the right ticket price on it is 18.500 if its mint with FLSH

But am I a sucker for RR errmmmm yea :)

But adding gas doesn't add anything to the value of them - just makes them easier to sell.

Low mileage isn't necessarily good - it's how the mileage has been done that is important. 40000 miles of stop start in traffic and short journeys will wear things much more than 100,000 miles of motorway.

My last Vectra was low mileage. Exhaust rotted out, clutch problems, etc etc. Would have been better off getting a high miler.

Still, each to their own. Perhaps I was a bit hasty in my judgement. It just seemed an awful lot of money to me for something that isn't what it pretends to be.
