I’m looking for a dash bracket for my iphones, my work phone is an 8 plus and my private phone an X

Ideally I’d like to avoid screwing into the dash but I also want it securely held and suitable for both phones.

Anyone offer a solution?

Have a look at the Ram Mount X grip for the phone holder.

To fix it to a dash without drilling? Now if a post 2007 Defender with a passenger grab handle you could remove one of the bolts and use this adaptor here


If an earlier vehicle then find a suitable bolt and use this ball mount here

We use the X grip a 3" arm and the grab handle adaptor for our iphones.

I use a cheapo spring grip type. It has a suction cup for the windscreen, so I mounted it next to MUD pod. It was less than £5 in one of the supermarkets. It holds my 7 plus, and my 6 plus before.

I use a Ram setup with the X holder on my bike and it works well, I just need to find the preferred spot to mount the ball.

+1 on RAM mounts. There's some pics of mine in the my vehicle section. Avoid cheap Chinese copies.

this holds my iPhone no problem, off roading and all
