I have two landrovers "Buzz" (last of the mechanical 110 Defenders) and Woody a SII cab lwb. I have had both Buzz and woody for 10 years and the family of 4 children and wife have known nothing else and enjoy nothing more than careful rides and picnics on their bonnets!

I grew up in a S1 landy called Monty which was sold in the 70's (replaced with SIII for growing family) and then bought back by my brother in 2002

My preferneces are anything without electronics, cruise at 70mph and is reliable!

Welcome mucka - I've got one of the last 200's so I know where you're coming from with the mechanicals over electrickery.

I know its been a long time since i posted but my Landy has just kept on going until earlier this year when i got hit with a whole load of problems at once which totalled 4k to fix ;(

I am seriously thinking of a complete refurb later in 2015 and would be interested in discussing with anyone who has paid a company to do it on their behalf.

Has anyone had their Defender rebuilt/referbed in the last year or so?
