Morning, just joined. Have finally bitten the bullet and purchased a 110, though I couldn't afford a gold plated assembled one so have bought a kit of parts. It's an 89 ex Military V8 which a previous owner was steadily restoring/upgrading until he lost the will. He seems to have done a nice job of the bits he got around to. Its got a 3.9efi from a D1, is polybushed and looks like chassis was blasted and repainted. First job is to get it to run as electrics were not his forte.

One thing you experts might be able to advise...the (to me) odd headlight mod. Maybe this was/is a common thing? He has cut out the headlight panels at the front of the wings, replaced them with chequer plate and bonded the plastic light fitting to it. See pics. To me it seems odd but maybe there is a reason...

Hello, looks better than mil lights, they are recessed and proud at the same time.
