Hi Guys n Gals
Just a quick line to say Hi. I have been researching changing the clutch on my Freelander TD4 for the last couple of weeks. I have found the info on this site invaluable. THANKS!
Job is done, and I am in the process of writing a resume of actual costs, part numbers, suppliers, difficulties, and solutions. I hope this will help others, as I have been helped.
Just for info, I live in Central France, am 47 years old, retired fireman, have no formal mechanical training, but have had to learn fast trying to run a smallholding with farming equipment older than me. I have some experience of working on sportsboat engines, motorbikes all my life, tractors n associated equipment, JCB, and of course the cars, a Jaguar X type estate 2005, Freelander TD4 2002, and an old 1997 BMW 323i soft top.
Cheers
