Hi all. My intermittent wipers dont work on my 1994 disco. Is there a fuse or relay for this setting or could it be some other reason?

Thanks

had the same problem with my 96 disco but along with the front wipers on intermittent the rear wiper and the buzzer that tells you when you leave the keys in the ignition and when you leave the lights on also stopped working.
turned out to be a mfu(multi function unit) problem.
replaced the mfu and all problems were gone.

The MFU also looks after the interior light delay and the rear fog lights so are they working?
Could be a faulty wiper switch or supply to the delay part of the switch, unusual but maybe.

Try having a look behind the right hand panel in the drivers side footwell, mine has a big red relay in there which is for the wipers, hope this helps?

Mine has a similar problem no park or intermittent or slow speed. Going to swap out the wiper motor later today so will post if it solves it.

my disco 1 1998 had same problem its the switch in the main motor unit under the panel under the drivers side windscreen swop out the hole unit and it should fix it i'm guessing that its to do with the wipers not stopping or being very iratic and not doing what the wiper stalk is set too on the stearing colum

1994 was the change over from 200 to 300Tdi, if you have a 200Tdi then it could be the wiper relay in the drivers side foot well or the switch, my mate has had three wiper stalks in 8yrs on his 200Tdi D1.
