Good morning,
Was wondering if any of you gurus out there could help diagnose an issue I'm having with my 2007 reg Freelander 2 (diesel). I'm experiencing a sudden intermittent loss of power, which occurs at any speed (not necessarily when accelerating), any revs, any weather, any time...it even happens whilst I was sat idling the other day. It can happen a couple of times a day, then maybe not for another week (so deifinitely intermittent). The engine doesn't stall, but it's as though I've suddenly taken my foot off the accelerator and then back on again (it happens just once, not like a constant 'juddering'). It's been occurring for the past couple of months now, so I'd like to get to the bottom of it. Any advice much appreciated!

Get it on diag there will be codes stored.

Usually something like this is a diesel pressure fault on the common rail.
Source can be from a long list of little sensors back to a pump, the fault codes will normally tell you what.

How many miles has it got?
