Hi There
I'm new to the site, so please excuse me if this questuion has been answered several times before.
I have a 96 Disco V8i....Starter Motor was replaced with new unit last February.
Since June or so...intermittently....turning the starter key does not engage the starter motor...whne this happens if I wait about a minute or so, it starts fine.
For what its worth...
Is this a known issue, am I better to start looking a the ignition switch end or starter motor end...or anywhere else in between?
Any help appreciated.
Cheers
Dave

- Even when it won't turn over....I get all standard lights on dash and electrics work fine.
- It always starts first time from cold, or if its been sitting for a few hours.
- I replaced the ignition barrel about three years back, but problen only started occuring in June. Seems to dissappear for a few weeks, then return.
