Evening. I have a 55 plate 110 Defender that has an intermittent fuel fail. Runs well for a few hours, then fuel starts to fail - initially a few judders, then eventually completely cuts out (won’t re-start). Has been to the garage for filters/ lines etc, but the fault persists. Any ideas gratefully received. Thanks in advance...

presumably td5,injector washers and o rings are a favourite and intank pump is prone for blocking up or failing, theres a air bleed valve in rear outer on the filter head connector which is worth changing at the same time

I had an intermittent fuel problem on my 54 plate TD5, it was the in thank fuel pump playing up, I had it changed after the fuel gauge sender packed up and never had a problem since.
