Hi Chaps,couple of probs with my 2001 2.5 DT.

Firstly the central locking every now and again starts activating on its own as I'm driving along.Not every journey but getting more frequent.Car opens/locks with remote or key no problem.
Secondly the Traction Control/ABS fault comes up on dash every so often,again not every journey and will clear when engine turned off and restarted and may not come back on again for a week or so.
Hopefully not the biggest problems in the hair losing world of P38 ownership but a bit of preventitive medicine might not go amiss before wallet is crowbarred open.:doh:

intermitent!! mine are permanant thats a better word!

also run a search for "amigos". its been covered too many times for me to paste all the links here. guessing you've already thought to check fuses and relays, earth connections and battery condition?

whats the option have nothing and get rid as non runner? maybe would have been a better idea

I've been reading your threads and following your progress over the last few weeks and really admire your determination. This might be landyzone heresy but its just a car at the end of the day! You know will get top of it eventually, you just have to decide early on if you'll set a limit on when to pull the plug. No regrets! Good Luck whatever you decide.
