My 56 plate disco has an intermitant squeak, I think coming from the rear wheels. It stops when I break. My local dealer cannot find anything wrong, yet it is getting louder! Does anyone have any experience of this?

you could have either a sticky caliper or may need some copper grease on the metal face of the brake pads.

Have you looked at the rubber spacer on the rear prop.I had a squeak that happened under hard acceleration and it was that.

Hi, Check your pads, I had a really annoying rattle/squeek, and stopped under braking. Changed pads, and noise stopped,
