Hi. I'm looking to fit a dab ariel that adheres to the windscreen.
I have a mk1 face-lift freelander and would like to route the cable under the trim that covers the drivers side window pillar. (A frame?)

My question is, is it simple to remove? Does it just pull off and clip back on?
There's no obvious screws.

Any help greatly appreciated.

My 06 TD4 it just pulled off and pushed back on.

You need to pull away the door rubber trim first. Not totally, just enough to access the cover.

That's what I thought, but didn't want to destroy it trying lol.

Cheers

Does it have a heated front screen? If so DAB reception will be carp. DAB is rubbish most of the time anyway, so it doesn't need anything making it worse.

Not as far as I know. Sounds an odd response I know, however, there is a blank where there should be a button for it but there is a loom going to a connector behind it.
So I may have heated windscreen but just not wired up.

Internal HFS wiring is there from the factory. It is also possible to retrofit the HFS too.
You'll know if you have a heated screen, because you'll see the elements. They are in the form of thin wiggly lines top to bottom of the screen. No wiggly elements means no HFS.
