Thanks Marty, not sure I have footwell lamps. Have taken all the bulbs out for the moment but will try your suggestion tomorrow and report back.

Even my bargain basement model has puddle-lamps in the front.

Puddle lights are on the underside of the door frame,

Footwell lights are puddle lights by proxy, if your carpets are wet.;)

There's definitely light of some sort down there but who the hell looks at their feet?!

I like to check the webbing between my toes:oops:
You're from Lincs?
Actually, I checked once and the biggest rate of extra digits and so forth was somewhere like east London, iirc.

And the biggest rate of extra nipples is in Bond movies,
Or is it?

Haven't got numbers for polythelia (supernumerary nipples) but for other genetic conditions:

Genetic condition = #1 rank of people / 100 population
Canavan = Camden
ColourBlind = South Tyneside
CriDuChat = Hardwick
CysticFibrosis = West London
DiGeorge = Camden
Haemochromatosis = Trafford
Haemophilia = Greenwich
Hypercholesterolemia = Havering
Klinefelter = Hastings And Rother
MuscularAtrophyIncludingSpinal = Camden
MuscularDystrophyIncludingDuchennes = North Hampshire
Neurofibromatosis = South Tyneside
Phenylketonuria = Thanet
PolycysticKidneyDisease = South Tyneside
polydactyl = Barking And Dagenham
SickleCell = Southwark
Trisomy = Camden
Turners = Camden
Any of the above = Cumbria

Most common area above = Camden

A lot of those areas are east side of London. Mind you, Tyneside isn't doing badly!

I have a problem with my interior lights as mentioned in other threads. The centre console above thr driver and passenger does nothing-will not come on or respond to pressing the switches. The boot will not unlock either until the interior lights go out. Mine is a problem with the BeCM I think-so sounds like yours could be similar.

Steve.

PS

I think Marty is away until Christmas.
