There’s a guy on Landywatch selling a small device that screws on to the tyre valve and then locks with a key so you can’t remove it (without the key)
If you drive off with the device attached, the tyre deflates “within a few hundred metres”
This seems a very good idea, as you wouldn’t drive a Defender very far with (say) two flat tyres.
The device is under £40.
Has anybody tried this product or had any experience of it? It looks like a German supplier.

I remember these from a few years ago, don't know if it is the same product or an alternative brand?
I have no personal experience of them and despite a bit of fanfare at the launch back in the day I don't know anyone who bought them.

I can’t find a link, but it’s on Landywatch
The guy says to “email him and he will send back order details”
It’s a yellow device that sits on the tyre valve. It’s likely a thief wouldn’t notice it was fitted, in which case they would rapidly find the Land Rover almost uncontrollable

For the device to work, your landy has already been taken. And well equipped thieves will be able to change a tyre.

Well l guess.
But you can’t get them off without a key, and the seller is in Germany so unlikely to turn up at your house
Obviously not the good security idea l thought it was.
Although l can’t see a thief pulling over and changing two wheels a few hundred yards from your property....more likely to just dump it
And probably set fire to it
