I found this wee video quite interesting. It shows the effect of operating angles on universal joints and revolutions as well as the importance of correct phasing. cor blimey, thats really Interesting thing I never knew..


back in the day I had to drastically shorten my propshafts when I used them in stockcars,
so luckily I never encountered that proplem.

but can see some who use huge body & spring lifts running into problems...

So neil as my wide angled prop wasn't phased properly til you did it will it have done some damage cos it never vibrated?

you never felt it vibrate cos ya bushes were that knackered.
thats why it drove a bit like a jelly.
